We recognize and appreciate the importance of visitation to provide support to patients during their recovery
process.
General Visiting Hours
Tyrone Hospital has flexible visiting hours to accommodate patients and families.
Intensive Coronary Care Unit (ICCU) Visiting Hours
Visiting hours for the Intensive Coronary Care Unit are as follows:
Monday - Sunday |
11 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Can flex hours as needed)
Immediate family and significant others are welcome to visit patients in the ICCU.
Staff who provide care for
ICCU patients will determine length of visits and the
number of visitors permitted based on each individual
patient’s health status.
Children under the age of 14 are generally not to be permitted to visit patients in
the ICCU. However, there are
special circumstances when children may be
permitted to visit and in these cases they must be accompanied
by an adult.
Visitors in the ICCU should be careful not touch any catheter, wound, line, or
body fluid. Visitors to the ICCU
may be asked to wash their hands before and
after entering the room to reduce the possibility of spreading
infection. They may
also be asked to wear a mask and adhere to policies related to isolation.
Mobile phones are not permitted in ICCU.
All visitors are asked to check with the nursing staff or the patient’s physician
before bringing any food or
beverages into the ICCU.
After hours visitation may be approved based on patient and family needs and
circumstances.
