University Orthopedic Clinic at Tyrone Hospital
University Orthopedic Clinic (UOC) now offers orthopedic care at Tyrone Hospital with clinical and surgical services
provided by Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon Bradley Barter, D.O.
Dr. Barter provides general orthopedic care and he also has unique competencies and training in the treatment of foot,
ankle, knee, hand, trauma and pediatrics.
UOC's Clinic is located on the first floor at Tyrone Hospital. Appointments are now being scheduled by calling
814-684-6301.
Our location in Tyrone makes high quality orthopedic care more accessible to the residents of Northern Blair County
and the surrounding areas.
The clinic provides an intimate, personalized environment with convenient scheduling and ease of access for patients
and family members. Dr. Barter is supported by anesthesiologists, nurses and technical staff who have extensive
training and experience in the field of orthopedic surgery.
| Meet Dr. Bradley A. Barter, D.O. |

Dr. Barter is a board certified orthopedic surgeon. He provides general orthopedic care with unique competencies and training in the treatment of foot, ankle, knee, hand, trauma and pediatrics.
Dr. Barter joined University Orthopedic Clinic (UOC) in September 2003. He is a graduate of Michigan State University, College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan. He completed a Foot and Ankle Fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Upon receiving his medical degree, Dr. Barter completed his internship at Botsford General Hospital, an affiliate of Michigan State University and his residency at St. Michael Hospital, an affiliate of Oklahoma State University.
Dr. Barter is a member of the American Osteopathic Association of Orthopedic Surgery, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Association, Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, and the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society.
