Three Tyrone leaders received special recognition for their work in the community from the Blair Countians for Drug Free Communities. Tyrone Hospital CEO Stephen Gildea received the Jo Ann Dugan Visionary Award, Tyrone Police Chief John Romeo received the John Iorio Community Partner Award and Officer Matt McMurray received the Top Gun Award.
