Cardiopulmonary Services
Cardiopulmonary services refers to the collection of services provided at Tyrone Hospital to diagnose, monitor, and
treat conditions of the heart and lungs. Services offered include the following:
Service offered through the respiratory therapy department:
- Electrocardiography (ECG)
- Echocardiograms (ECHO)
- Electroencephalogram (EEG)
- Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT)
- 24-Hour Holter Monitoring
- 2 Step Studies
- Respiratory Therapy
Services offered through other hospital departments:
- Telemetry Unit
- Permanent & temporary pacemaker insertion
- Sleep studies
A physician’s order is required for all cardiopulmonary services.
The Cardiopulmonary Services department is open from 7: 00 am to 7:00 pm Monday thru Friday. The department also
provides services on holidays and weekends from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Electrocardiograms (EKG or ECG) exams are provided to outpatients on a
walk-in basis.
Appointments are required for Holter Monitors, electroencephalograms (EEG), Echocardiogram (ECHO), pulmonary
function tests (PFT).
