Burgmeier’s Hauling is offering community members an opportunity to recycle their electronic waste or e-waste for
Burgmeier’s will have an e-waste collection container located at the Bellwood-Antis Public Library March 1 through March 4. Community members are free to stop buy at any time to deposit their e-waste.
The e-waste collection is being offered by Burgmeier’s as part of the upcoming Health & Safety Fair to be held at the Bellwood-Antis Public Library on Saturday March 2nd from 10 am -1pm. The Fair is co-sponsored by the library and Tyrone Hospital.
Acceptable e-waste items include most items with an electrical cord including : Computers, monitors, towers, keyboards, speakers, small printers, fax machines, TV’s, rear projection, flat screens, CD players, DVD’s, large speakers, stereos, radios, phones, cameras, game consoles, cable boxes, toasters, hair dryers, curling irons, sweepers, vacuum cleaners, blenders, mixers, microwaves and blenders.
NO LARGE APPLIANCES such as refrigerators, washing machines, dryers or air conditioners or any items containing Freon can be deposited.
Burgmeier’s is designated by PA-DEP as a collector of e-waste items and works with eLoop LLC a company from Pittsburgh that is a PA-DEP Certified Recycler.
